Welcome to Port Broughton Kindergarten
Port Broughton Kindergarten is part of the Department for Education and Child Development (DECD). We are part of the Northern Yorke Partnership.
We are located on the corner of South Terrace and Kadina Road Port Broughton and have a superb spacious outdoor area with large trees, large shade sails, large lawn, paths to explore, sand pit, cubby house, play mound, boat and native plants.
We also have a well appointed indoor learning area including separate room for group time and an Interactive White Board.
It is a wonderful place for children to play and learn. Our program focuses on providing learning experiences to foster the development of your child's life skills and competencies.
We program using the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia; Belonging, Being and Becoming.
There are five groups of Learning Outcomes:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators.
We foster, nurture and enhance your child's positive self-awareness to ensure they have successful learning experiences in all areas of the curriculum.
